Privacy Policy

Greenside (“Greenside,” “we,” “us”) is a lawn-care tracking app operated by [Holding Company LLC], a [State] limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@greensideyard.com.

Information we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Google or an email link, we receive your email address and basic profile (name and avatar, if provided by Google). We never receive your Google password.
• Lawn data you enter. The lawns, activities, products, photos, notes, and settings you add to track your lawn.
• Location (optional). If you set a location or draw your yard, we store the coordinates/label to power weather and yard-size features. You choose whether to provide this.
• Usage & diagnostics. Aggregate product analytics (pages visited, features used, referral/campaign source) and crash/error reports, used to understand and improve the app.
• Feedback. If you send feedback, we store your message plus the page you were on and your app version so we can reproduce issues.

How we use it

• To provide the app’s features (logging, calculators, weather, reminders).
• To understand which features and channels are working so we can improve Greenside.
• To respond to your feedback and support requests.
• To keep the service secure and diagnose problems.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run Greenside:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Google — sign-in (OAuth).
• Cloudflare — hosting and email routing.
• Mapbox — maps for drawing your yard.
• Weather providers (e.g. Open-Meteo, and any personal weather station you connect) — local conditions.
• PostHog — product analytics. Sentry — error monitoring.

Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and remember the source you first arrived from (attribution). We don’t use advertising trackers.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can export or delete your data at any time (see below); deleting your account removes your lawns, activities, photos, and settings.

Your choices & rights

• Export. Download everything you’ve logged from Settings → Backup & export.
• Delete. Request account deletion by emailing support@greensideyard.com.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or restrict processing of your data. Contact us to exercise them.

Children

Greenside isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date.
